pouncers
Those who leap
Pouncers are those who pounce—people or animals that leap suddenly to seize something.
Cats are natural pouncers, waiting motionless before springing on prey.
The term extends to anyone who acts with sudden aggression or opportunism: Internet pouncers wait for any mistake to attack.
