Plussing is the practice of improving something by adding to it—making it better than expected or required.
The term originated at Disney, where creative teams were encouraged to ask "What can we add?" to elevate a concept: The animators kept plussing the scene until every detail sparkled.
Now used broadly in creative and business contexts for iterative enhancement.
