Raised rectangle door
A panel door is a door constructed with a frame surrounding one or more recessed or raised panels, rather than being made from a single flat slab.
The panels fit into grooves in the frame's rails and stiles, allowing the wood to expand and contract with humidity changes without warping.
Most traditional interior doors are panel doors: a six-panel door, the classic four-panel colonial door.
