Bid without suits
Notrump is a declaration in bridge and similar card games that no suit will serve as trump for that hand.
Instead, the highest card in the led suit wins each trick.
Players bid notrump when they have strength across multiple suits: She opened with one notrump.
Also spelled no-trump.
