nonrecreational
Not for fun
Nonrecreational describes activities or purposes that aren't for leisure or enjoyment.
The term appears most often in discussions of drug use, distinguishing medical or therapeutic use from use for pleasure: nonrecreational cannabis, nonrecreational opioid prescriptions.
It also applies to land use, equipment, or facilities designated for work rather than play.
