match three
Swap adjacent gems
Match three is a puzzle game mechanic where players swap adjacent pieces on a grid to align three or more identical items in a row or column, causing them to disappear and new pieces to fall into place.
The format dominates casual mobile games: I've been playing that match-three game on my phone for hours.
