liveness detection
Real presence confirmation
Liveness detection is a security measure that verifies a person is physically present rather than a photograph, video, or mask being used to spoof biometric systems.
Common in facial recognition for unlocking phones or verifying identity, it may require blinking, turning your head, or responding to prompts: The app's liveness detection asked me to smile and look left.
