jump in with both feet
Dive in completely
To jump in with both feet is to commit fully to something without hesitation or holding back: She jumped in with both feet when she started the business.
The image is of plunging into water completely rather than testing it with a toe first.
The phrase often implies enthusiasm or boldness, sometimes with a hint of recklessness.
