jumbo slice
Enormous triangular portion
A jumbo slice is an oversized piece of pizza, typically sold by the slice at late-night pizzerias.
The term is especially associated with Washington, D.C., where jumbo slices became a fixture of the post-bar food scene: We grabbed jumbo slices on the way home from the club.
The slices are often as large as a dinner plate.
