in sha Allah

If God wills

In sha Allah is an Arabic phrase meaning "if God wills it," expressing hope that something will happen while acknowledging that outcomes rest with divine will.

Muslims use it when speaking of future plans or intentions: I'll see you tomorrow, in sha Allah.

The phrase can convey genuine piety or function as a polite hedge—sometimes closer to "hopefully" or even "probably not." Also spelled inshallah, insha'Allah.
