ideally
In theory's realm
Ideally means in an ideal or perfect scenario—how things would be if circumstances were optimal: Ideally, we'd leave by noon, but that's not going to happen.
The word often introduces a preference that reality may not accommodate.
It can also mean in a way that is ideal: The house is ideally situated near both schools and parks.
