Frozen water form
An ice cube tray is a container with compartments for freezing water into individual cubes.
You fill it, place it in the freezer, and later twist or flex the tray to release the ice.
The design has remained largely unchanged for decades, though silicone versions have mostly replaced rigid plastic ones.
