home therapy
Residential healing sessions
Home therapy is medical or rehabilitative treatment administered in a patient's residence rather than a clinical setting.
Physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy are commonly delivered this way, often for patients recovering from surgery or managing chronic conditions: Medicare covers home therapy for homebound patients.
The term also applies to therapeutic exercises or treatments patients perform independently between professional visits.
