high beam indicator
Dashboard brights alert
A dashboard light, usually blue, that illuminates when a vehicle's high beam headlights are active.
The indicator reminds drivers to switch back to low beams when approaching other vehicles, since high beams can blind oncoming traffic: I didn't realize my high beams were on until I noticed the indicator.
