group interview
Collective candidate screening
A group interview is a job interview where multiple candidates are assessed simultaneously, often through discussion or collaborative tasks.
Employers use them to observe how applicants interact, communicate, and handle competition: The group interview had us solving a problem together while they watched.
The term can also mean an interview conducted by multiple interviewers with a single candidate.
