fuzzy-headed
Not thinking clearly
Fuzzy-headed describes a state of mental confusion or unclear thinking, as though the mind were wrapped in cotton.
It often accompanies illness, fatigue, or intoxication: I was too fuzzy-headed from the cold medicine to follow the conversation.
The term can also characterize someone whose thinking is habitually muddled or impractical: fuzzy-headed idealists.
