flying coaster
Hanging thrill ride
A flying coaster is a roller coaster designed so riders travel in a prone, face-down position, simulating the sensation of flight.
The trains rotate passengers from seated to horizontal as the ride begins, then return them upright at the end.
The flying coaster swooped through the canyon, I felt like Superman on that flying coaster.
