flunkers
Students who failed
Flunkers are people who fail, especially those who fail exams or courses.
The word carries a casual, slightly dismissive tone—flunkers aren't tragic figures but people who didn't make the grade: The professor failed half the class; she's never had so many flunkers.
Someone who flunks out of school repeatedly might be called a serial flunker.
