fantasyland
Place of delusion
A fantasyland is any place or situation characterized by unrealistic thinking or wishful imagination rather than practical reality.
Often used dismissively to suggest someone is out of touch: His economic proposals come straight from fantasyland.
The word implies pleasant delusion—expectations untethered from how things actually work. (Capitalized Fantasyland is a themed area in Disney parks.)
