fake lawyer
Unlicensed legal imposter
A fake lawyer is someone who poses as an attorney without proper credentials or licensing—either to defraud clients or, more loosely, to describe anyone giving legal-sounding advice they're unqualified to offer.
The term also appears humorously for people who argue technicalities in everyday situations: Stop being a fake lawyer and just admit you were wrong.
