dream teams
All-star assembled groups
A dream team is an ideal group assembled for a task—the best possible combination of talent.
The phrase gained currency from the 1992 U.S.
Olympic basketball team, stacked with NBA stars.
Now applied broadly: The company assembled a dream team of engineers.
Often used loosely or ironically for any collaborative group.
