dream feed
Nighttime infant nursing
A dream feed is a late-night feeding given to a sleeping or drowsy infant, typically between 10 PM and midnight, before the parents go to bed.
The idea is to fill the baby's stomach without fully waking them, extending their longest sleep stretch to align with the parents' sleep schedule: We started doing a dream feed and she finally slept through until 5 AM.
