Traditional wedding symbol
Double happiness is a Chinese symbol (囍) combining two characters for joy, traditionally displayed at weddings to wish the couple good fortune.
The symbol appears on decorations, invitations, and gifts.
Outside wedding contexts, double happiness may simply mean twice the usual joy or satisfaction: Finding both the dress and shoes on sale—double happiness!
