domesticators
Wildlife to livestock
Domesticators are people or groups who tame wild animals or cultivate wild plants over generations, transforming them into species dependent on human care.
The term applies historically to ancient peoples who domesticated cattle, dogs, and grain crops, but also extends to anyone engaged in the ongoing process of breeding animals or plants for human use.
Early domesticators in the Fertile Crescent gave rise to wheat and barley as we know them.
