diss song
Lyrical personal attack
A diss song is a track—usually in hip-hop or rap—written to insult, criticize, or humiliate another artist.
The genre thrives on feuds: Drake and Kendrick traded diss songs all summer.
A good diss song names names, gets specific, and lands memorable lines that outlive the beef itself.
