diamond pick
Ore-breaking tool
A diamond pick is a pickaxe in Minecraft crafted from diamonds, the strongest material for tools in the base game.
It mines blocks faster and lasts longer than picks made from wood, stone, iron, or gold.
Crucially, only a diamond pick (or better) can mine obsidian, needed to build a portal to the Nether: I finally got enough diamonds for a diamond pick.
