controller drift
Unwanted joystick movement
Controller drift is a hardware malfunction in video game controllers where the analog stick registers movement when untouched, causing in-game characters or cameras to move on their own.
The issue worsens over time and affects most controller types: My character keeps walking left because of controller drift.
Also called stick drift or joystick drift.
