contemporary gallery
Current art space
A contemporary gallery is a space that exhibits art from the present era or recent past, typically work by living artists.
Unlike museums focused on historical collections, contemporary galleries often represent emerging and established artists commercially, hosting rotating exhibitions and facilitating sales: She showed her new sculptures at a contemporary gallery in Chelsea.
