complaisant
Willing to please
Complaisant means eager to please or obligingly agreeable.
A complaisant person readily defers to others' wishes, sometimes excessively so: a complaisant assistant who never pushed back.
The word carries a slight suggestion of servility or lack of backbone.
Not to be confused with complacent, which means self-satisfied.
