No-heat mend
Cold patch is a ready-to-use asphalt mixture for repairing potholes and cracks in pavement without heating.
Unlike hot mix asphalt, it can be applied in any weather and stored indefinitely: I picked up a bag of cold patch at the hardware store to fix the driveway.
The term also describes the repaired area itself.
