closing date
Transaction completion day
A closing date is a deadline by which something must be completed or submitted.
In real estate, it's the day when property ownership officially transfers and all paperwork is finalized: We set a closing date for the end of the month.
For applications or competitions, it marks when entries stop being accepted: The closing date for submissions is Friday.
