cedar groves
Aromatic evergreen forests
Cedar groves are stands of cedar trees growing together, often with a distinctive atmosphere—fragrant, shaded, and cathedral-like.
The phrase appears in nature writing, real estate descriptions, and place names: We walked through the cedar grove behind the cabin.
Cedar groves have biblical and poetic associations, evoking ancient Lebanon's famous forests.
