buttonholers
Won't stop talking
Buttonholers are people who corner others in conversation, detaining them with persistent talk.
The image is of someone physically grabbing your buttonhole to keep you from escaping: The conference was full of buttonholers pitching their projects.
A buttonholer is also a sewing machine attachment that makes buttonholes.
