borefests
Events inducing sleep
Borefests is the plural of borefest, a dismissive term for events, activities, or experiences that are tediously dull.
The word blends bore with -fest (from festival), sarcastically framing boredom as the main attraction: The quarterly meetings are absolute borefests.
I sat through three borefests before finding a show I actually liked.
