bong hits
Filtered smoke draws
Bong hits are inhalations of marijuana smoke drawn through a bong—a water pipe that cools and filters the smoke.
The term emphasizes the act of smoking rather than the device: We took a few bong hits before the movie.
Taking bong hits delivers a more intense effect than joints or pipes because larger amounts of smoke can be inhaled at once.
