black flagged
Ordered off track
Black flagged means disqualified or removed from competition, originally from auto racing where a black flag signals a driver must leave the track immediately—usually for a rules violation or unsafe conduct.
The term extends to any situation where someone is officially barred: He got black flagged from the tournament for unsportsmanlike behavior.
In military and intelligence contexts, black flagged can mean marked for elimination or designated as a high-priority target.
