biographical sketch
Brief personal history
A biographical sketch is a brief written account of someone's life, hitting the major facts—birth, education, career, achievements—without the depth of a full biography.
Often required for applications, conference programs, or introductions: Please submit a 200-word biographical sketch with your manuscript.
