bilingual edition
Dual-language book format
A bilingual edition presents a text in two languages, typically on facing pages or in parallel columns.
Most often used for poetry, religious texts, or literature where readers want access to the original alongside a translation: I bought a bilingual edition of Neruda's poems.
The format lets readers compare translations against source material or use one language to help learn the other.
