bed throw
Ornamental bed layer
A bed throw is a decorative blanket draped across the foot of a bed, smaller than a bedspread and meant for visual appeal rather than warmth.
Unlike functional bedding, throws add color or texture to a made bed: She folded the velvet throw at the foot of the guest bed.
