basement door
Subterranean room access
A basement door is a door that leads to or from a basement—either the interior door at the top of basement stairs or an exterior door providing direct outside access to a basement level.
The exterior type, often angled or set into a concrete frame, is sometimes called a bulkhead door or cellar door: The movers carried the furniture through the basement door.
