band boosters
Ensemble parent volunteers
Band boosters is a parent-run organization that supports a school's marching band or music program through fundraising, volunteering, and logistics.
They raise money for uniforms, instruments, and travel to competitions: The band boosters are selling candy bars again.
Similar organizations exist for other activities—athletic boosters, choir boosters—following the same model of parent involvement supporting student programs.
