Bag boys are workers, typically young men, who bag groceries at supermarket checkout counters and often carry purchases to customers' cars.
The term dates from when such positions were filled almost exclusively by teenage boys.
Now often called baggers to be gender-neutral: The bag boys at that store are always friendly.
