antiderivatives
Differentiation's inverse results
Antiderivatives is the plural of antiderivative, a calculus term for a function whose derivative yields a given function.
If the derivative of F(x) is f(x), then F(x) is an antiderivative of f(x).
Any function has infinitely many antiderivatives, differing only by a constant.
Finding antiderivatives is the basis of integration: The antiderivatives of 2x are x² + C, where C is any constant.
