almond-eyed
Slender, tapered eyes
Almond-eyed describes eyes with an elongated, oval shape tapering at the corners—resembling the profile of an almond.
The term appears in physical descriptions and has been applied particularly to people of East Asian descent, where it can carry Orientalizing or exoticizing overtones: the almond-eyed beauty of classical Chinese painting.
