Aerial silk is a type of acrobatic performance art in which a performer climbs, wraps, and suspends themselves from two long fabric panels hanging from a ceiling or rigging point.
The performer executes drops, spins, and poses while supported by the silk: She's been training in aerial silk for three years.
Also called aerial tissue or aerial fabric.
Usually used in the plural: aerial silks.
