addition table
Arithmetic reference grid
An addition table is a grid showing the sums of number pairs, typically single digits 0–9 or 1–12.
The numbers along the top and left edges intersect at their sum, so the row for 3 and column for 7 meet at 10.
Children memorize addition tables as a foundation for arithmetic, just as they later learn multiplication tables.
