North Koreans
DPRK's entire population
North Koreans are citizens or natives of North Korea (officially the Democratic People's Republic of Korea), the isolated authoritarian state occupying the northern portion of the Korean Peninsula.
The term often carries implicit reference to the country's repressive conditions: North Koreans face severe restrictions on travel and information.
In South Korea, North Koreans who have defected are sometimes called defectors or, more formally, North Korean refugees.
