Texas travel hub
Love Field is the secondary commercial airport serving Dallas, Texas, located closer to downtown than Dallas/Fort Worth International.
It was Dallas's main airport until DFW opened in 1974 and is now Southwest Airlines' headquarters hub.
The name honors First Lieutenant Moss Lee Love, an early Army aviator killed in a 1913 crash.
