Kevin McCallister

Kevin McCallister is the child protagonist of the *Home Alone* films, an eight-year-old accidentally left behind when his family leaves for vacation, who defends his house against burglars using elaborate booby traps.

The name has become shorthand for resourceful self-reliance, especially in children, or for being forgotten or abandoned: I got Kevin McCallister'd when everyone left without me.
