Issa Rae
Issa Rae is the stage name of Jo-Issa Rae Diop, an American actress, writer, and producer who rose to prominence with her YouTube series *Awkward Black Girl* and later created and starred in HBO's *Insecure*.
Her work explores modern Black life, dating, and friendship with observational humor: I've been binge-watching Issa Rae's new show.
